17th July 2011
Windsurfing: Felixstowe dip
Wind Direction: ssw
Wind Stength: f5
Surf / Sea State: roughish
Air Temperature: OK
Sea Temperature: OK
Weather: rainy
Max Speed: 24.7 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 11.4 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Arrived 12.30 sea rough, thought flat water Lev' but Lord Swain said it was OK. Rigged 5.7 Hellcat / 114L Mistral synchro RD SL, really great set up, but was underpowered mainly, so kept losing ground, as this board loves downwind sailing.
Made a huge mistake having a rest too early, went out again in the rain, and with the wind easing the sea was great, so choose to go for one more run and yep the wind died. Drifted 30 mins to the golf end and yet another long walk, thanks to Roger who has now rescued me 10 + times and Lord Swain. Shredded by barefeet, blood everywhere.
I like Sw wind whilst everyone likes NE which I hate so 4**** cos, got a carpark space, didn't go Lev, fell in loads but with a puny 5.7 rotational (instead of RS SL cammed sails) water starts weren't tiring.
OK Maker I wll av to admit, I went straight to the sauna as dog paddling 30 mins in waterstart mode against tide in no wind counts for a mega workout :)
Banned from the cuzzi though, no blood allowed!
several out except no kiters? high tide, windy, rough, rain..kiters no likey :)
